Who are We?

Baati Chokha is a F&B brand recognized by the Uttar Pradesh government under its ODOC initiative for bringing the authentic flavours of India’s rural heartland to urban India.

Established in 2020, the brand has now expanded to 5 locations. It has earned consistently high customer ratings of 4.7–4.8★ and praised by dignitaries such as India’s Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Member of Parliament Ravi Kishan, among many others.

The founders say “We started Baati Chokha to bring back the taste we grew up with; food cooked on chulhas, shared with family, and remembered for years.”

FAQs

1. How is Baati Chokha different from other restaurant franchises?

We focus on authentic Purvanchal cuisine, unique dining experiences, and a niche market that is still underexplored in many cities.

The total investment typically ranges from ₹25 lakhs to ₹50 lakhs depending on the format (QSR or dine-in), location, and outlet size.

Our model is designed for strong unit economics, with attractive margins and a potential break-even period of 6–12 months depending on location and operations.

High footfall areas such as markets, highways, near colleges, hospitals, and residential hubs work best.
